Learn Un-Chase! in the real world

Un-Chase! live events and workshops give you the chance to practise new skills with expert guidance in real environments, alongside fellow dog lovers working towards the same goal: helping their dogs make safer choices around movement, animals, and other chase triggers.

Whether you’re preventing chasing before it begins or working to change an existing habit, these events offer practical support, clear coaching, and the opportunity to build confidence in the situations that matter most.

Workshops with Un-Chase! founder Alexis

Small group sessions are run by Un-Chase! founder Alexis Davison, alongside Licenced Un-Chase Trainer Janelle Irvin of Scholars in Collars, giving you direct guidance from the person who developed the program.

Our workshops are held regularly throughout South Australia, including Adelaide, Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula.

Each workshop focuses on practical skills that can be used in real life. Small group sizes allow plenty of individual support while providing opportunities to practise around real-world distractions.

Workshop participants also receive access to the relevant Un-Chase! app challenge, providing step-by-step guidance and ongoing support to help you continue progressing long after the workshop has finished.

Puppies (under 7 months)

Puppy field trips focus on preventing chasing before it begins. Young dogs learn to stay calm around movement, helping them grow into thoughtful, responsive companions.

Un-Chase!

The Un-Chase! workshop helps dogs learn to remain calm around the movement that commonly triggers chasing behaviour.

You and your dog will learn how to build calm observation, strengthen focus, develop alternative behaviours, and create positive associations with common chase triggers such as wildlife, livestock, bikes, runners, and other moving distractions.

The Ultimate Safety Net

The Ultimate Safety Net teaches three of the most important skills your dog can have: recall, emergency stop, and wait at a boundary.

These practical safety skills can help prevent accidents and give you greater confidence when out and about with your dog. Through step-by-step exercises, you’ll learn how to build reliable responses that can be used around distractions and in unexpected situations.

Unwind

Unwind helps dogs develop the skills needed to relax, settle, and switch off more easily in everyday life.

You’ll help your dog build calmness and learn to relax both at home and in a variety of environments. This workshop is ideal for dogs who struggle to switch off, become easily overexcited, or would benefit from additional relaxation skills.

Walk This Way

Walk This Way helps you teach your dog to enjoy more connected walks without pulling, lunging, or constant tension on the lead.

You’ll learn practical techniques to build focus, encourage your dog to stay connected with you, and create better lead-walking habits around everyday distractions. The skills taught can be easily incorporated into your regular walks, helping create more enjoyable outings for both you and your dog.
